In the research times in the use of solar collector type cylindrical trough collector (CTC), by using copper pipes with a diameter of 3/8 inches, (9.52 mm) with a length of 130 cm. As for the reflector using aluminium foil, with a length of 120 cm and diameter of 50 cm, with a variation of the line pipe (8.3 cm), (12.5 cm) And water is used as a working fluid with a discharge of 300 cm3/min.
The results of this study showed that the variation of the line pipe (12.5 cm) resulted in the highest resists at 13:00 WITA, with a maximum of 37.55 ºC, and the highest efficiency of 21.02%. While the variation (8.3 cm) produced the highest resists at 13:00 WITA with a maximum resists of 36.72 º C, and the highest efficiency of 16.47%. And on variations (16.6 cm) produced the highest resists at 13:00 WITA with a maximum resists of 35.79 º C, and the highest efficiency of 11.63%. So it can be concluded that variations in pipe position (12, 5 cm) are the best position for this type of concentrator solar collector
